this is a very nice hostel, friendly and helpful staff, super clean, confortalbe beds, good breakfast. i am actually staying here again for two nights as i missed my flight.

FUN FUN FUN...BARCELONA AND MAR HOSTEL.
The hostel in general is good, the double rooms is located three blocks from the recepction and breakfast. Good part is that the double room is a complete studio, you have your own bathroom and is clean also. the studio is located two blocks from las ramblas where you have Liceu metro stop. however we think the location is not very safe,better don`t stop to speak with anybody. We didn`t have any problem. VERY GOOD OPTION!!
Thank you for this time in Barcelona. See you next year. The History museum was a lot of fun. This Hostel is the greatest of all in Barcelona.

Staying at Barcelona Mar Hostel made my trip to Barcelona thAt much more fun. I had an amazing time AND LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT.
A really good hostel, nothing wrong with it and no problems, i would recommend Be Hostels Mar to anyone i knew travelling to Barcelona, it is in the center of the city, buses and trains are nearby.

location of the hostel was in the center of Barcelona, inmigrant area so lots of arabs and indians.
Staff was SO Nice and helpful. All the guest were really friendly. You can drink in the lobby, free WIFI available in the lobby. really cheap and good bike rental near the hostel. bed mattresses were old, big free storage locker in the room, good security. best hostel!
the staff here was awesome and the hostel was really nice, however, its located in the redlight district so walking back (specially at night) can be a little scary.
Really cool people, the hostel has clean and nice rooms and common area, good kitchen, free internet!! Really good tours and entertainment options.

Its located in a rather sketchy looking area but at the same time its in the center of Barcelona, like two blocks down from las Ramblas and not much further from the port. the staff is cool and were helpful in getting around.
this was the best hostel we stayed our entire trip, when you have a double, it is your own apartment, with kitchen and everything!! Great location very close to las Ramblas, gothic, etc...
GReat hostel!! the location is in the center of Barcelona, not the best but be smart and you`ll be fine.
Stayed in a double, wich is a 5 min. walk away from the main building. double was similar to getting a hotel (had TV, walk in shower, fridge, towels) even had a lift. Good place !! wish i had known it wasn`t in the main building though.
We had the private room (double bed) for 5 days, it was great!! it was an apartment (with own bathroom, kitchen and window) a few meters from the hostel in a separeted house. there was AC, the interior was really nice, clean and fully equipped. Towels and sheets are changed every day. We never tried the breakfast because in Barcelona you have enough great, cheap posibilities to find something to eat.

I absolutely love this hostel. it was very clean, well kept and had a very cheery interior. the staff was excellent and very helpful. the one bad thing is that it`s located down this sketchy alley. but I would totally stay here again!!

Great location, good help, nice and clean hostel with internet and breakfast, kitchen facilitie and washing, spacious lockers in the room. i very appreciate such a decent hostel, seen as there are so many poo holes out there.
A very lively, fun hostel with clues as to what to do in this incredible city . we had a shared room and private, and both we great stays in Barcelona.
?THE HOSTEL WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN, BUT THE HIGHLIGHT ARE THE GUYS AT THE FRONT DESK WICH WILL GIVE VERY VALUABLE INFORMATION SO YOU CAN ENJOY YOUR DAYS WHILE IN bARCELONA.

The security was fantastic. Great location close to the happenning Rambla. Staff were extremely friendly.
Good, location, pretty near the attractions! clean environment, though it's a little cramp in the 8 bed dorms. The young staffs were knowledgeable and spoke English.
The staff was super helpful. We lost our luggage and they were great in helping us deal with the airlines etc. The location is kind of in a shady area, about a 10 minute walk to Las Ramblas. They did have a good free walking tour offered at the hostel though.
Very nice hostel, I didn't find any new and interesting people, but then again I was just using the place as a spot to spend the night while with other friends exploring Barcelona. I am very satisfied with my stay.

It was a very nice, inviting building with great staff. It was also a very short walk from Las Ramblas so it was in a very good location. This was our first hostel experience and we loved it! We also really enjoyed the extra activites the hostel offered like the cooking class and pub crawl. We highly recommend it!!!
